Wamplers Lake Vacation Rental
in Michigan's Irish Hills Resort Area

The Irish Hills is Michigan's resort center located about 70 miles west of Detroit and is home to Michigan International Speedway (MIS). The cottage is located about 10 miles from the track. Wamplers Lake is an "All Sports" lake offering swimming, boating, fishing or just relaxing on the water. Brooklyn is the nearest town about 8 miles away and offers shopping, dining and fast food.

The cottage is located on the north shore of Wamplers Lake. No streets or roads to cross. Walk out the front door and into the water of this "All Sports" 800 acre lake. Bring your boat or personal water craft. A boat launch is located at Walter J. Hayes State Park.

The cottage sleeps 6 and includes 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a full bath and utility room with washer & dryer. Linens & Bath Towels are provided. Comcast Digital Cable and Internet are included. Phone service is provided but you are expected to use your Cell Phone or a Calling Card for long-distance. Any charges will be deducted from your damage deposit or billed to you later.

Rental Rates:

NEW for 2009

Vacations Booked on or after March 1, 2009 will increase from $1000 to $1100 per week. Reservations made prior to this date will remain at the 2008 rate.

Race and Holiday Nightly Rates are now $300 per night (2 night min.) Check-in after 4pm, Check-out before 10am.

If you make out a separate check or a cash payment for your "Damage Deposit" of $250, it will be refunded at check-out if there are no damages.

Additional days may be purchased depending on availability to alter your check-in and check-out times. Each additional day is $150. All rates are subject to change and may not be reflected here.

Check-out is BEFORE 10am on Sunday.
Check-in is AFTER 4pm on Sunday.

How do I reserve my vacation:

First - Check the Calendar to see if your dates are available.
Next - Contact us by phone or eMail and we will verify the time you want is available. If your ready to schedule your vacation, then we will eMail (or US Mail) you a copy of the contract. The contract is your guarantee of "Rates & Policies" for the time you have chosen, not the website.
Finally - Sign the "Contract" and return it to us with your $500 deposit. Deposits may be made by check or PayPal on the Rental Agreement page. A Cancellation Fee of $250 will be charged for cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival. The fee will be waived if you book & complete an alternate week during the same season.
